Q-Is the DVBT PC160 compatible with Windows Vista?
A- Yes it is.
Q-Because DVBT PC160 allows you to watch two digital freeview channels at once, does this mean that you need to have two aerials?
A- No, you only need one aerial input.
Q-How good is the antenna provided?
A- It depends. In Europe it would be fine. It the UK, we recommend that you use a rooftop aerial as the signal differs in different areas. In some areas you can get all freeview channels with a portable digital antenna. Obviously in an area where there is better coverage then the better the reception will be with the small aerial provided. Sometimes though, even in your living room if you have a set up box using a portable digital antenna, it doesn’t guarantee that DVBT PC160 can use the same antenna.
Q-Is the DVBT PC160 compatible with Mac?
A- Unfortunately not. It is only compatible with Windows.
Q-Does the DVBT PC160 support connection for alternative aerials if the supplied one isn’t strong enough?
A- Yes, you can use any portable DVB-T aerial. We recommend users in the UK using roof-mounted aerial.
Q-Does the DVBT PC160 support teletext?
A- It only supports DVB standard teletext, which is normal throughout most of Europe. Unfortunately UK teletext is not DVB standard, therefore it does not.
Q-When you say free-to-air do you mean with a satellite dish or a freeview receiver?
A- You do not need a satellite dish. This product is DVB-T therefore you need a normal aerial which receives the regular terrestrial channels. Products requiring satellite dishes are DVB-S.
Q-Is the DVBT PC160 compatible with Windows 2000?
A- No. Windows XP and after.
Q-How many freeview channels can I get with the DVBT PC160?
A- It depends on the area that you live. You can receive all of the freeview channels in your area. Check www.freview.co.uk for details.
Q-Does the DVBT PC160 come with a remote control?
A- Yes it does.
