Q-Is the DVB-T 380U compatible with Windows Vista?
A- Yes it is.

Q-Would the DVB-T 380U work with Vista Home Premium?
A- Yes, or the latest drivers are available from the website at www.kworlduk.com

Q-Is the DVB-T 380U compatible with Windows 2000?
A- We recommend using Windows XP and above.

Q-Is the DVB-T 380U compatible with Mac?
A- No unfortunately not.

Q-Would the DVB-T 380U work with Smartphone that has a USB port?
A- No it is Windows based PC's and Laptops only.

Q-From the info provided, I understand that I just plug the DVB-T 380U into a USB 2 port into my PC or Laptop and I will be able to receive free to air channels without the need for a TV card?
A- Yes there is no requirement for another TV card.The DVB-T 380U is in effect the TV Card. Check your postcode at www.freeview.co.uk for details of freeview channels in your area.

Q-Does the DVBT 380U support teletext?
A- It only supports DVB standard teletext, which is normal throughout most of Europe. Unfortunately UK teletext is not DVB standard, therefore it does not.

Q-It says Watch and record free-to-air digital terrestrial TV on your PC or laptop, do you need any additional software to achieve this?
A- It comes with the relevant software.

Q-Does the DVB-T 380U require USB 2 ports or does it work with 1.1?
A- DVB-T 380U requires USB 2.0

Q-Would you need a TV licence if the DVB-T 380U was used on a laptop?
A- Yes. Anything that is able to pick up a TV signal would mean that you have to have a TV licence. However, if your household already has a TV licence, you do not need to worry because it is one licence per household.

Q-How good is the antenna provided?
A- It depends. In Europe it would be fine. It the UK, we recommend that you use a rooftop aerial as the signal differs in different areas. In some areas you can get all freeview channels with a portable digital antenna. Obviously in an area where there is better coverage then the better the reception will be with the small aerial provided. Sometimes though, even in your living room if you have a set up box using a portable digital antenna, it doesn’t guarantee that DVBT 399U can use the same antenna.

Q-Does the DVB-T 380U show all freeview channels including Setanta sports?
A- It doesn’t show every channel i.e. Setanta. Check www.freeview.co.uk for details of the coverage in your area.

Q-Does the DVB-T 380U allow connection for alternative aerials if the supplied is not powerful enough?
A- Yes, you can use any portable DVB-T aerial. We recommend users in the UK using roof-mounted aerial.

Q-Does the DVB-T 380U come with a remote control?
A- No.
